I'm Anissa, a full-time, dedicated dog walker and pet sitter. Caring for pets has been my whole job since 2019, first in Salt Lake City and now here in Northern Virginia. It's my favorite thing in the world.
Everything your pets need while you're away
Dogs are my specialty, and I happily care for cats, birds, guinea pigs and turtles too.
Walks & drop-in visits
Potty breaks, neighborhood walks, feeding, medication and lots of play, in 15, 30 or 60 minute visits.
Overnights & house sitting
I stay in your home so your pets keep their routine, and I'm never away from them for more than 5 hours.
Cats & small pets
Fresh food and water, clean litter boxes and cages, and real one-on-one time for cats, birds, guinea pigs and turtles.
The care I'd want for my own dog
Walks for Lucy is named after my sweet girl, Lucy. Every pet I care for gets the same attention and love I gave her. That's my promise to you.
Photos every visit
A photo update after every visit, and at least two a day during overnights. Videos whenever you'd like.
Never more than 5 hours
On overnights, your pets are never left alone for more than five hours at a time.

I meet your pets and learn their routine before the first visit. Free in Fairfax County.

Why “Walks for Lucy”?
Lucy was my sweet, stubborn girl who lived to 17½ and stopped to smell everything. Every walk is still a little bit for her.
